Because I couldn't find my beloved dual-LEDs as 3mm version with three pins I had to use the two-pin version. As you can see on the schematics this are actually two antiparrallel wired LEDs in one housing, where the color is selected by changing polarity. Obviously it isn't easily possible to mix colors with those, the LED lights only red or green. A triple presence double throw switch makes it possible to switch the strobe light between 12 Volt / 5 Volt / off and the LED between green / red / off.
