The contact area of the blue orb compared to the original heatsink. When you first look at it the blorb looks much smoother, but this photo is deceptive! The blorb didn't feature the small streaks often found on aluminium heatsinks but it had some small marks on it's surface as if someone tried how strong it is by scratching with a screwdriver. This marks are not from a previous installation attempt, bad shipping/handling or something like that. It must have been made during production, before anodising because the inside of the scratches was anodised too. But even worse is, the heatsinks contact area was very far from flat at all. The two outstanding parts with the holes for the push-in pins have been pushed down during production. Because the GeForce-chip (and most other graphic-chips probably too) has a relatively large contact area the orb did lie on only with its corners. In my eyes a heatsink like this is a danger to the chip it is supposed to cool...
