The Airplex radiator is originally a car heat exchanger that is modificated for use in a PC watercooling. For this the original spouts are removed and replaced by Plug&Cool connectors (or regular fittings alternatively). There are plastic flakes, crumbs and residue of drilling oil left inside the radiator from this processing. Becaus of this it is recommended to rinse the Airplex thoroughly before initial operation. For that purpose the pump sucks water from the wash basin and presses it through the radiator back into the basin. The dishwashing detergent helps to separate the oil.
